• The unit cannot be used until you have successfully completed a background check using
SureCheck (a revolutionary new public safety background check technology) from the
privacy of your own home using a secure web site or a toll-free 800 number. The $9.95
background check fee is paid directly to TASER International, and is not included in the purchase
price of unit.
• After completing the background check, you will be issued an activation code unique to your
unit's serial number. Only after entering the activation code can the TASER C2 be operated.
• If you fail the background check, you will not be given the activation code for the unit and the
unit is neither returnable nor refundable.
